Why Tint your Car Windows?
There are numerous advantages to tinting your car windows, including:

Regulations on Tinted Windows in Quebec and Canada
While tinting your windows comes with numerous advantages, it is also important to consider the various provincial and federal regulations in order to avoid over-tinting and the associated drawbacks.
Front side windows, for instance, must allow for at least 70% of light to pass through. As for the rear windows, they are often left to the driver’s discretion, who must ensure that other road users’ safety and visibility are not being compromised.
However, rear windows on vehicles that are equipped with driver assistance systems or a backup camera must be clear in order to ensure the proper functioning of these systems. Please note that for the windshield, no tinting is allowed except for a maximum of 15 cm on the upper part of the glass.
